RIVERSIDE 60-60 CHALLENGE!
The RIVERSIDE 60-60 CHALLENGE was launched in July 2018 for all children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Children were provided with a special passport that contained 60 challenges - tasks and activities for children to aim for both in and out of school.
Our aim is to increase participation, develop experiences, promote activities that families can do together and guide you towards activities that will really help to broaden your child's experiences. At the end of each term, your child's teacher will sit down with your child and talk to them about what they have achieved that term and which of the challenges they have managed to meet.
Children can earn house points and award certificates, but more importantly, they will have learned new skills that they can share with their friends back in school. It's not a race and you don't HAVE to take part, but the passport and an explanatory leaflet are attached. Take a look, print a copy off and talk about the ideas next time you are out and about with your family. I can't wait to see the pictures:)
