Key information

Please ensure your child brings a piece of friut or healthy snack and a named bottle of water (no juice please) every day.

Children may bring in their own pencil case. We will however provide stationery and equipment.

PE Days are Wednesday and Thursday.

Swimming - Year 3 swimming will be on Tuesdays. It will run for 4 weeks.

Your child will need to come to school on their swimming day with the following equipment

 Swimming costume/trunks (tight fitting, not baggy for boys)
 Swimming hat
 Towel
 Goggles
 Carrier bag for wet items

Reading books - All children have a colour banded reading book. This needs to be in school everyday along with their reading record. Please encourage your child to read regularly at home and sign their reading record each time you listen to them read. Children will have the opportunity to change their book as required during the week.

Spellings - We will send spellings home each Monday. Spelling tests will every Friday.

Maths Homework - MyMaths tasks are set each Friday.

The children are encouraged to practice times tables using TTRockstars 4 x per week. Parent letters with information and log in details have been sent home.

All the logins can be found on the inside cover of the children's reading records.

If any of these get lost then please let Mr Cox or Mrs Giannakaki know and we will replace them.

Key Term Dates Autumn 1

7.9.2026 - Olive class visit to Maidenhead Library (Walking from school at 9:30am. Will be back before lunch).

9.9.2026 - Meet the teacher meeting. 2:45pm in the main hall. Come to the office.

21.10.2026 - NHS school vaccinations (A communication will be sent out).

23.10.2026 - Last day before half term (full day).
