Reading  -

Children are encourage to read every day at home and this needs to be logged and signed in their reading journals. Books will not be changed if the reading book hasn’t been logged or returned. Children’s books will be changed on a regular basis.

Your child will receive two reading books. One is reading for pleasure which your child will be able to read and decode. The other book is your child's reading level book.  Please encourage your child to read their books again even though he/ she might have read it.  Concentrate on fluency and expression.  Ask your child questions about what they have read.
