We are very excited to share the news that we have secured a school link with a Junior school in Somerset, South Petherton Junior School. This link will allow both staff and children to enrich their understanding of a school in a different setting and develop their understanding of a contrasting locality.

The Headteacher of South Petherton, Mrs Walker, visited Riverside in December 2022. Mr Daniels and Miss Walker (Mrs Walker's daughter) visited South Petherton Junior School in October 2023. Both Schools have adopted ideas form each other and we look forward to sharing more best practice with each other. Miss Walker has hosted a whole school asembly where she has explained to the child what the school oink is about and she shared photos of our link school.

The Head Students of both schools regularly write letters to each other and the children really look forward to receiving their next letter.
