Welcome to Birch Class

Hello from the adults in Birch Class!

Important information for return to school:
Children need to bring a named water bottle to school with them at the beginning of the week and these will stay in school (topped up with fresh water throughout the week) and sent home on a Friday to be cleaned.

Birch Class have P.E on a Tuesday and Friday and children need to come to school dressed in their P.E kit on these days which they will wear for the whole school day. With the temperature starting to drop please make sure they have warm clothing (jogging bottoms and hoody).

What we are learning this term enlightened

The children have had the first few days to settle back in to school and re adjust to the new routine and being back in a school environment, they have managed really well under the circumstances and continue to show how resilient they are! As of this week (8/9/20) we will be returning to a more structured timetable and aim to ensure that we catch up on what the children have missed in Year One alongside the Year Two curriculum. Details on the areas of learning we will be focussing on can be found below with information on how you be helping at home . smiley
